Many Pakistani stars were recently spotted at an awards show in the US. The 7th edition of Hum Awards are in full swing with fun performances, skits and of course - the accolades. While many actors have definitely brought their best foot forward at the red carpet, celebrities such as Mawra Hocane, Iqra Aziz, Kubra Khan, Muneeb Butt and Farhan Saeed failed to impress us with their looks of the night.
Here's a lowdown of what they wore:
1. Mawra Hocane
We like what Mawra wore - don't get us wrong. The lime green Omrose lehenga choli she sported at the red carpet was quite gorgeous - but maybe for a mehendi. The updo, the jewelley, the makeup made us feel as if Mawra was going to a wedding event rather than a red carpet.
2. Muneeb Butt
Can someone ask Muneeb Butt to not opt for a sequin suit the next time? The Humayun Alamgir three piece the actor wore to the awards looked quite similar to what he wore at his reception by the same designer. It didn't work then, it won't work now!
3. Kubra Khan
Black is an all time favourite at any red carpet event. Maybe because it is quite safe and maybe since it is quite hard it get it wrong. But Kubra Khan's outfit for the night was just... plain. The gown, the pants, the earrings - it all looked messy. And we know Kubra can look gorgeous in anything - but her outfit didn't work.
4. Farhan Saeed
Let me just say it - Farhan Saeed's sherwani just didn't cut it for us at the red carpet. What we would have liked more is a good-fitted suit. Maybe, it is too much to ask.
5. Iqra Aziz
Iqra Aziz looked stunning as far as her makeup and hairdo is concerned. However, the actor's green gown with pleated sleeves didn't do justice to her look. We like how well fitted it was, but the dress itself was just... tacky. The skirt didn't work, the emblishemnt on it definitely didn't work. The actress could have gone a bit more simplistic when it came to the ensemble. Remember Iqra's 2018 Lux Style Awards white gown? The actress and her stylist should have taken a clue from that look less is definitely more.
