It is clearly not easy being a celebrity these days as their lives are constantly under the microscope of the media. Celebrities are constantly judged for the choices they make, however progressive they may seem. Recently, Rishi Kapoor who is recuperating from cancer in USA, was visited by Pakistani actress Mawra Hocane and it didn’t seem to go down well with the netizens.

Ahead of the India vs Pakistan cricket match, Rishi Kapoor who is recovering in New York, USA had an unexpected visitor. He was visited by Mawra Hocane who has acted in the Bollywood film, Sanam Teri Kasam. However, this did not go down well with the hyper-nationalist twitteratis and they soon started trolling him for meeting a Pakistani citizen. Some of the comments are downright vile and really aren’t justified.

Currently, Mawra is in the Pakistani drama, Aangan, a family drama set against the backdrop of the Partition. Rishi Kapoor, has been taking treatment for Cancer in the US for over a year now. According to several reports in the media, Rishi, will return to India just in time to celebrate his 67th birthday. He confirmed the same to a media outlet saying, "Yes, I am trying to return by August-end, depending on what the doctors at the hospital say. I have recovered well and I am feeling good. Must be 100% fit by the time I am back." Sources close to the actor reveal that he is indeed Cancer free and can’t wait to return to India.

During the actor’s stay in the US, he was met by several Bollywood personalities such as Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar, Deepika Padukone, Vicky Kaushal, Rajkumar Hirani. His son Ranbir Kapoor and wife Neetu Singh were constantly by his side. He was also visited by Alia Bhatt, Ranbir’s girlfriend.
