1) The Spice Cottage

With a dearth of good places to satiate your Indian food craving in International City, this place comes as a welcome surprise. Offering an interesting array of dishes that include some Chinese and Sri Lankan options as well and some great lunch value deals, the restaurant also offers some very unique drinks like the Peanut Butter and Banana smoothie, Avocado smoothie and Peach Iced tea. Head here for a fix of meticulously detailed lunch combos.

2) Jogi Da Dhaba

If you’re in the area and are looking for a traditional Mutton Rogan josh, Kebabs or Kurkuri Bhindi, then you can head to this new North Indian restaurant. The place has a wide array of soups, starters and an extensive breakfast menu with classics as well.

3) Punjabi Khu

If you crave North Indian favorites like Sarson Ka Saag, Tangri Kebab or even Kadai Chicken, this new restaurant has you all sorted for your next meal. The concept is to merge traditional recipes with contemporary flavors and some of the results are mouth-wateringly good.

4) Masala Bistro

As a huge foodie, I do crave comfort food and this new place promises to come to the rescue. The first time I was in there newly opened branch at JLT, I felt completely enamored by the warmth and service the place offered. The food reminds you of something that your mother would serve you and the vibe is just what you need after a hard day at work.

5) Chaat Bazaar

If comfort food is what you crave, then this new place is just the thing you’re looking for. With staple favorites like Pani puri and Pav bhaji and an extensive array of over 40 chaat based dishes, be prepared to be taken on a culinary journey through the bylanes of Kolkata, Delhi and Mumbai.
