Kangana Ranaut, controversy's favourite child, is in the news again for another back-and-forth. This time it is director and film guru Mahesh Bhatt. The veteran director has hit back at Kangana Ranaut saying that she is a small girl (bacchi), thereby implying that she is being irresponsible and childlike.
However, he hasn't directly said anything after Kangana's sister accused him of hurling a shoe at Kangana Ranaut.
On being asked about the recent social media attack by Rangoli, Bhatt told reporters, “She (Kangana) is a ‘bachchi’, started her journey with us. Just because her relative (sister Rangoli) is attacking me, I won’t comment. Our upbringing and culture teach us that we should not raise a finger on our children. So saying anything against our children won’t be possible. My upbringing stops me to do so. Till I die, I will never ever say anything against our child because it is against my upbringing, it is against my nature.”
Bhatt was talking to media-persons at the screening of the film Yours Truly, which is also his acting debut. His comments came after Rangoli attacked him and his wife Soni Razdan earlier this month. Rangoli also attacked Bhatt’s wife and their superstar daughter Alia Bhatt. Kangana Ranaut had also called Alia Bhatt's performance in Gully Boy 'average' and had also taken issue to Alia and Ranbir being called younger lot. Rangoli had also taken to Twitter a few weeks earlier to respond to Live Love Laugh Foundation, Deepika Padukone's Mental Health Awarenes platform, where she clarified the concerns raised about Kangana's upcoming film Mental Hai Kya's poster.
Kangana hasn't reacted to the barb from Mahesh Bhatt tough it is understood that she hasn't taken the comments very kindly.
