Mahesh Babu’s next Big Bang Maharshi is ready for release in May. And he is no longer looking at merely entertaining his fans. In the new film he plays a visionary with dreams of taking the country and its young population forward. The catch-line in the Maharshi teaser says, “Success is not a destination, it’s a journey” and that is what Mahesh Babu believes in real life too.
“One can’t rest on one’s laurels. One has to move on, build new hopes and aspirations. That’s what my character Rishi believes in. I do want to motivate the youngsters of the country, if I can, to work harder and harder and never give up on their dreams, no matter how bleak the future may seem. I strongly believe if you put in your sincere hard work there will be results,” says Mahesh Babu who intends to remain out of politics.
“Cinema is a powerful tool of reform and progress. My films Bharat Ane Nenu and Maharshi are my methods of conveying a motivational message to the masses,” says Mahesh Babu who now leaves for a 10-day holiday on 20 April with his wife and children. He says this has been a period of constant stress as the completion of Maharshi weighed on his mind and schedule. He needs a break before beginning promotions for Maharshi.
Recently, Mahesh Babu was in the news for getting a wax figure of himself by Madame Tussauds.
