Look Who is Supporting #MeToo Accused Sajid Khan
Accused under #MeToo, Sajid Khan is supported by this actress. She said she never faced sexual harassment by him and supports him
The ongoing fight by Sajid Khan to prove his innocence in the Metoo cases has got some support from an actress. Tamannah Bhatia has come on record that she has not faced any kind of harassment from the beleaguered Sajid. This quote has come a huge relief for Sajid and his family who are fighting to prove his innocence.
Sajid Khan still maintains that he has not sexually harassed anybody on the sets. “For me, it has always been about the script and what’s the kind of film that I am working on. When I worked with Sajid, unfortunately, none of our films did well. He never treated me in any bad way and I was completely comfortable working with him,” Tamannah Bhatia was quoted as saying.
However, the cases that have come forward don't point him at harassing actors on the sets of his films. At least two actors and one journalist has come on record to say that Sajid Khan had harassed them, not on the film sets but at his home when they had gone to meet him.
Sajid was ousted as the director of Housefull4 and he hasn't been announced as the director of any other project ever since. Many key individuals in India such as Vikas Bahl and Alok Nath were named in the #MeToo movement ever since Tanushree Dutta came forward against Nana Patekar, accusing him of sexual harassment.
Tamannah made her debut at the age of 15 in the industry and since then has done various films in Telegu and Tamil cinema.
Sajid's sister, Farah Khan had tweeted this post the allegations.
"This is a heartbreaking time for my family. We have to work through some very difficult issues. If my brother has behaved in this manner he has a lot to atone for. I don’t in any way endorse this behavior and Stand in solidarity with any woman who has been hurt."
