Shraddha Kapoor’s Workout Routine

Recently, Shraddha Kapoor had to show a lot of skin in the beach scenes for her movie opposite Ranbir Kapoor, Tu Jhooti Main Makkaar. In the movie, Shraddha Kapoor dons bikinis on the beach, which meant that she had to be in the best shape for the film. Not surprisingly, in an interview, Shraddha Kapoor’s trainer Maahek Nair revealed that she has to follow a strict workout routine to maintain her body for the film and otherwise.
Maahek reveals that Shraddha Kapoor would wake up at 5:30 a.m. to train for the movie. She revealed that Shraddha has always been a lean girl, and their workout focus was not to lose weight but to build endurance and strength.
Her workout routine included many exercises such as TRX, ViPR, along with Bosu ball workouts, quick explosive sprints, side runs, burpees, and lunge walks. She also did Pilates. In another interview with Money Control, Maahek revealed that they begin these exercises with a five-minute meditation session to set the tone for the workout.

After some foam rolling, Shraddha Kapoor then does 10 minutes of static stretching and 10 minutes of mobility drills. Later, once warmed up, she goes on to perform the endurance workouts mentioned above. The workout is then completed with another five-minute meditation session.
Shraddha Kapoor’s Diet Plan

Shraddha Kapoor is a self-proclaimed foodie. So, it’s no surprise that her diet plan does not involve starving herself; instead, it’s a balanced diet, focusing on higher fiber and protein content. Talking to TOI, Maahek Nair said, “For the second phase, which included a lot of beach scenes where the abdomen had to look lean with no water retention, I incorporated meals high in fiber, moderate protein, less carbs, and less fat. We also followed 14-16 hours of intermittent fasting.”

Speaking of her fitness journey, Shraddha Kapoor has revealed that her fitness journey is about finding joy in her routine, which keeps her physically fit and also mentally healthy.
She also talked to Pinkvilla about how she is very strict with having her dinner between 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. and that she eats “sabjis, daal, rice, chapati, and some days she loves to have continental and Asian foods.” Shraddha Kapoor has also shared, “I try to eat 1.5 hours before my workout and eat whatever I feel like, but mainly some food that will give me energy. And post workout, I try to eat as much protein and vegetables as I can.”
