Kylie Jenner’s New Nail Art Trends: From French Drip to Butterflies to Tie-Dye Designs
Kylie Jenner has been setting new nail art trends by showing off her colourful and unique designs. Check these out before your next manicure.
Kylie Jenner is known for changing her looks and style to keep up with the latest beauty trends. The 22-year old model-businesswoman, who has had really long, acrylic nails for quite some time, has been coming up with new nail art ideas all through the summer, providing inspiration to her millions of social media followers for their next manicure. Last week, Kylie shared her unique take on the classic French manicure, uploading a picture of neon pink nails, captioned, “French Drip”. The style seems to have been inspired by her Kylie Cosmetics logo, which shows liquid lipstick dripping from the lips.
It turns out that this drip design is actually a throwback from 2016, when Kylie’s cosmetic line had just been launched and she wore the same design in other colours. Kylie has also shared the Ombré nail art, which has a smooth transition between the colours, while having fun at the beach.
Other than this, Kylie earlier shared a butterfly nail art from the ‘90s as the summer of 2019 has been taken over by retro nail art.
During the summers -- when tie-dye became the biggest fashion trend, with many celebs like Taylor Swift and Gigi Hadid trying out the tie-dye looks -- Kylie also came up with her tie-dye nail art, using pastel colours.
If rumours are to be believed, the reason why Kylie has been experimenting so much with her nail art, and sharing it on Instagram, is that the self-made billionaire -- who just recently launched Kylie Skin -- is planning to launch her own nail collection. According to some reports, Kylie has already filed a trademark under her Kylie Cosmetics company for a range of nail care products, including nail polish remover, nail strengtheners, nail care preparation products and nail polishes.
