Kriti Sanon is all set to attend the New York Fashion Week (NYFW) Autumn Winter 2019, an international fashion event which brings together the key players of the fashion industry. The show started on Friday, 6th September and is going to run for six days. Kriti will be attending the Coach Show on 10th September. This prestigious event, which takes place twice a year, has previously been attended by top Bollywood actresses such as Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra, including the one that took place in February 2019, and also has many guests from Hollywood.
Sharing her excitement about representing India at the upcoming event, the Bareilly Ki Barfi actress said,
“I am looking forward to the trends that will be showcased on the runway as well as the creativity that these designers bring to the table. New York is one of the most cosmopolitan cities that brings together high- fashion and luxury to create styles which will be in vogue for the long run.”
About her personal fashion statement, Kriti has revealed she likes comfort combined with luxury, “Something that resonates with personality but also goes with my frame.” On the professional front, this has been a good year for the actress, who has starred in hit films like Kartik Aaryan’s Luka Chuppi and Akshay Kumar’s Mission Mangal. Kirti will next be seen in Mimi, a film based on surrogacy, an adaptation of Marathi film, Mala Aai Vhhyachay. Directed by Laxman Utekar, the film also stars Pankaj Tripathi. Kriti is also set to appear in Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 4 and Panipat, co-starring Arjun Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt, with both films currently in post-production. She will also have a special appearance in Kartik Aaryan’s Pati, Patni Aur Woh, which is currently being filmed.
