The Tale of Lady OK is an exciting new K-drama featuring Lim Ji Yeon. The series is currently airing on JTBC and can be accessed by international audiences on Netflix. Set during the Joseon era, it centers around Lady Ok, who adopts a false identity to conceal her past. It was broadcast on November 30 on the South Korean TV network JTBC and became available on Netflix starting December 1. Unfortunately, the K-drama is not available in certain locations, including the US and Europe. Currently, four episodes have been released, and the fifth episode is set to premiere on December 31. The drama has sixteen episodes in total.

The Tale of Lady OK falls prey to a piracy leak
On December 17, the show’s production company, SLL, declared their intention to pursue legal action following the recent leak. In a statement shared with media, they said, “Sharing online links to illegally copied content of ‘The Tale of Lady Ok’ is considered as aiding in copyright infringement, according to the judicial precedent of the Supreme Court.”
“Such actions not only undermine the efforts of the cast and crew but also harm viewers. Further distribution or spoilers, which disrupt the foundation of content production and consumption and could negatively impact the entire content industry, must cease immediately,” the statement further noted.
The Tale of Lady OK is written by Park Ji Sook and directed by Jin Hyuk and Choi Bo Yoon. Its official synopsis reads, “Set during the Joseon period, Ok Tae Young is a legal expert. She is smart, has an excellent work ethic, and is athletic. Even in difficult situations, she doesn’t hesitate to help people. That is why she is loved by people around her, but she has a secret. Her secret is that her name, husband, and her status are all fake. She happens to meet Cheon Seung Whee. He is a story-teller and travels all around the country, reciting novels to people. He happens to meet Ok Tae Young and falls in love with her at first sight. He stays near her and helps her no matter what.”
