Bollywood has been churning out some amazing actors and actresses and the advent of the digital streaming platforms, many of them are finally getting the recognition they deserve. But it’s not only the aspiring actors and actresses who are opting to work for digital platforms, even some of the big names of Bollywood such as Emraan Hashmi, Saif Ali Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui amongst many others. Likewise, one such actress is Kirti Kulhari. While she has starred in several Bollywood films such as Pink, Blackmail, Uri and Mission Mangal, she wasn’t too well known amongst the masses until only recently.

Kirti appeared as a single mother, Anjana Menon in Amazon Prime Video’s Four More Shots Please and also starred in Shah Rukh Khan’s first Netflix production, Bard of Blood. And she glad with the parts coming her way now. Speaking of landing more important and interesting roles now, Kirti said, “Bard of Blood was one of the most thrilling parts I have ever played. I love the fact that the parts coming to me are getting me all charged up and excited. This is the kind of work I want to do.” The actress is currently gearing up for her next, which will be a film – a Hindi remake of 2016’s The Girl on the Train.

In the upcoming film, Kirti will play a British cop as Parineeti Chopra takes the lead. The film is being helmed by Ribhu Dasgupta who the actress also worked with in Bard of Blood. Speaking of her next role, Kirti shared, “Ribhu called me for this role after we had finished Bard of Blood. He told me that he had something very interesting for me. We spoke about it and I said yes. People will be very surprised to see me in the film. It’s been great collaborating with him again. We share a good connection and it is great to work with Ribhu.”
