Katrina Kaif's Sister Debut To Be Shelved?

Katrina Kaif, Isabelle Kaif’s Bollywood debut (she has already made her international debut opposite the talented Indo-Canadian actor Vinay Virmani in Dr Cabbie) is in a bit of a jam. The film entitled Time To Dance has shaped up not as it was expected to,and has apparently gone into re-shooting. Says a source close to the project, “The Isabelle-Sooraj Pancholi team that is god-fathered by Salman Khan lacks punch on screen. Though it is a dance film (directed by ace-choreographer Remo d’Souza’s assistant Stanley D’Costa) the dance numbers haven’t come out so well at all.”
Apparently some of the dancing may be re-shot. At the same time Salman Khan has been asked to contribute to the film with his iconic number Oh oh jaan-e-jana, originally shot for the film Pyar Kiya Toh Darna Kya in 1998. Salman will recreate the number for A Time To Dance, a sure sign that things aren’t going as per plan, as earlier it was decided that Salman would stay out of Isabelle’s debut film so that the focus would remain on the youngsters in the lead.
“But now , with the way the film has turned out, they’re looking for ways to pump up the interest level. So yes, Salman is joining in to give the youngsters a helping hand,” says the source. We do hope that the film will overcome its hiccups and hurdles and launch Katrina’s sister in style and also re-launch the career of the so-far unfortunate Salman protégé Sooraj Pancholi.
