Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan are one of Bollywood's most loved on-screen pairs. And their off screen chemistry leads to a lot of fun banter as was witnessed at a recent event. At the launch of the Bharat song Zinda on Friday, Katrina was asked why she never likes or comments on any of Salman's posts. "You know, it's not intentional, but now that you say it, I'm thinking about it and yeah," she said. "Like that toh you are commenting on everything!" the actor interjected, to which Katrina quipped, "I think you need to up your Insta game!" She added, "I'm going to be more attentive to this for sure." Salman then jokingly asked the host, who had posed the question to Katrina, "Whose pictures is she liking and commenting on?" The fun banter between the two stars continued throughout the event.
But that was not the only quote that made news from the event. Salman had an interesting take on National Awards too. Getting a National Award is every actor's dream. But then Salman Khan is not every actor. The beefy superstar has never received a National Award. Actually, there have been very few awards for his acting abilities that he has received at the various award shows in Bollywood. But does that bother the star? Not in a bit! Salman said that it didn't matter even if he never received a big award in his life. According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, the actor once again dissed the concept of awards. "I don't want a National Award or any other award. I just want rewards. I get my National Award when people go to the theatres to watch my films. There's no reward bigger than the entire nation watching my film."
When it comes to box-office pull, there are few like Salman Khan. Though his last films Tubelight and Race 3 were duds at the box office, his upcoming film Bharat is much-awaited Eid release. An adaptation of the Korean film An Ode To My Father, Salman will be sporting five looks in the film, including his Maine Pyar Kiya appearance. Katrina Kaif will play the role of his love interest. The film hits screens on June 5.
