The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been spending the day in Lahore and just arrived at the historic Badshahi Masjid. The mosque is the second largest in the country and has a rich history attached to it. As part of their activities in Lahore, Kate Middleton and Prince William were given a tour of the grand mosque and after a quick change of outfits, the couple arrived at the mosque and their pictures have since gone viral. Ahead of their arrival at the mosque, the couple played a round of cricket and visited the SOS Children’s School.
For their arrival at the grand mosque, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge sported a lovely look and we decided to decode their look. Kate Middleton kept in line with the theme she has been following during the Royal Visit of Pakistan and wore a turquoise-green shalwar kameez by Pakistani designer Maheen Khan. The ensemble featured a long chiffon kameez which was paired with the same colour pants and dupatta. As a mark of respect, Kate Middleton had her head covered with the dupatta.
The kameez featured some signature Maheen Khan embellishments around the neckline down to the waist as well as the hemline of the dupatta and the sleeves. Kate Middleton opted for a side parted hairdo which was tied back inside her dupatta. Prince William on the other hand wore a crisp suit in a cream colour which he paired with a contrasting shirt and a black tie.
The Royal couple has been touring the country and met with the prime minister and other officials visited a school and also the Nationl Park in the country’s capital. They are now in Lahore where they will attend a grand reception at the Governor House in the evening. We can’t wait to see what other looks Kate Middelton has in store during her trip.
