Karisma Kapoor was the first girl from the illustrious Kapoor family to join Bollywood. She comes from one of the most prestigious families in the Hindi Cinema who has been in the film business for four generations. Starting from Prithvi Raj Kapoor, the Kapoor family has given India some of the greatest actors in the industry like Raj Kapoor, Shammi Kapoor, Shashi Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, and Ranbir Kapoor. However, girls joining the film industry was not a norm but Karisma Kapoor broke the norms by pursuing her lifelong dream of becoming an actress.
Her parents Randhir Kapoor and Babita Shivdasani got separated when both Karisma and Kareena were still young. The sisters lived with their mother but continued meeting their father. Now, they are often seen hanging out together as a family to various holidays and family hangouts. Karisma Kapoor often posts the family pictures which show her attachment with all.
She recently posted a picture with her father Randhir Kapoor from her childhood and father’s young times. Karisma Kapoor who is usually sober could be seen chuckling in her father’s arms as a little girl.
Karisma Kapoor’s fans couldn't help gushing over ‘papa’s little girl’s bonding with her papa.
‘Lovely still the same smile Karishma’
‘Soo cute. U were such a cuddly baby’
‘Beautiful pic ... How old you were during this ??’
Someone could not help spotting Karisma Kapoor’s similarity with her famous nephew Taimur Ali Khan.
‘You actually look like taimur or I shud say taimur looks like u’
Karisma Kapoor bid farewell to films when she married the Delhi businessman Sanjay Kapoor. Together they had two children namely Samaira and Kian Raj Kapoor. Unfortunately, the marriage could not last for long and culminated in a divorce. While Sanjay Kapoor remarried, Karisma decided to stay single and focus on work. While she endorses many brands and also hosts reality shows, Karisma Kapoor did not do a mainstream Hindi film again.
