While Kareena has recently been super busy promoting her upcoming film, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, opposite Salman Khan, she recently expressed her excitement towards her other upcoming project Udta Punjab to the leading daily, DNA.
"Udta Punjab is a brilliant film. I loved the story. It's one of those films where you don't have to do too much to get your emotions out. When Abhishek was narrating the film to me, I didn't know whether I wanted to cry or what else I wanted to do. The first thought was I want to do the film at any cost," Bebo says. She further confirmed the news of her being seen in the role of a doctor yet again in the movie, adding, "It's a three-track film. Alia, Shahid and me aren't paired together but we are part of the same drug drama."
While these days everyone from the industry is mostly concerned with the number game at the box office, Kareena believes otherwise. "There are some films which won't do 150 crores, but will be remembered for the story. Udta Punjab is one such film. People will talk about the content more than the box office figures," she tells DNA.
