One of the most highly anticipated films in Bollywood definitely has to be the Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan-starrer “Laal Singh Chaddha.” The movie will be the official remake of the Hollywood flick “Forrest Gump”, which released in 1994 and starred Tom Hanks in the eponymous role. It quickly became a major hit and is considered to be a cinema classic all over the world. The original plot followed the story of Forrest as he unintentionally influences a number of major American historical events throughout the 20th century. It’s safe to assume that Aamir’s iteration of the film will follow the same plot, but with historical events throughout India.

When it was announced that Aamir, an actor known for his love for out-of-the-box films that focus on character-driven stories, would be headlining “Laal Singh Chaddha”, moviegoers were obviously curious as to who would play the role of Jenny, Forrest’s love interest. It was soon revealed that Kareena Kapoor Khan would be taking on the character, marking Aamir and Kareena’s reunion to the big screen since “3 Idiots” and “Talaash.” Aamir’s wife Kiran Rao is also expected to have some behind-the-scenes involvement with the film though no official news of her role has been announced yet. However, paparazzi recently caught Kareena visiting Aamir and Kiran’s residence, with photos showing her interacting with Kiran and presumably preparing for “Laal Singh Chaddha.”

Kareena and Kiran can be seen interacting amiably as they stood outside the residence. Aamir also made an appearance, sporting his classic beard and mustache combo and a pair of rounded glasses,

Aamir fans are certainly hopeful that "Laal Singh Chaddha" will be a hit. The actor's last film "Thugs of Hindostan" was famously a flop at the box office as well as with critics. As for Kareena, she will next be seen in the Akshay Kumar film "Good News" and "Angrezi Medium" with Irrfan Khan, which is the sequel to "Hindi Medium."
