Kanika Kapoor Tests Positive for Coronavirus for the FOURTH Time
Singer Kanika Kapoor has been in quarantine in Lucknow for a while now and there seems to be no improvement in her condition
Kanika Kapoor does not seem to be having much luck with her fight against the Coronavirus. Kanika had tested positive a couple of weeks ago and had to be quarantined. However, she caused a huge controversy when it emerged that she had hid her travel history and had even gone partying and shopping. There were concerns that she would have passed on the virus to several others though thankfully, none of the persons she was in touch with, showed any symptoms. But the bigger controversy was when she allegedly complained about the lack of facilities at the hospital she was quarantined in.
So much so that the authorities had to issue a statement saying that she was given the best possible treatment including gluten-free food. Social media then slammed her for her diva-like tantrums. A complaint was also filed against her.
A few days ago, Kanika tested again after the treatment but unfortunately, she tested positive again which meant that her quarantine was extended. For a patient to be considered cured, at least two tests should be negative. Unfortunately, the ordeal does not seem to have ended as Kanika, it is being said, has tested negative for the fourth consecutive time.
The Baby Doll singer, who is admitted to the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS), is stable but her family members are worried. A relative who didn't want to be quoted told a news agency, " We are now worried over the test reports. It seems that Kanika is not responding to treatment and in this lockdown, we cannot even airlift her for advanced treatment. We can only pray for her recovery.”
