Kanika Kapoor Tests Positive for Coronavirus for FIFTH Time
Kanika Kapoor has been in quarantine for a few weeks since her return from London
Kanika Kapoor, the voice behind hit songs like Baby Doll and Chittiyan Kalaiyan, has been tested positive for Coronavirus for the fifth consecutive time. Kanika first made news when she was tested positive for COVID-19 a few weeks ago after her return from London. She was one of the earliest celebrities in Bollywood to be quarantined.
However, the stay proved to be very controversial. It emerged that Kanika had hid her travel history from the authorities and had attended parties and even went shopping. There were fears that she may have transmitted to others. However that proved to be false. Then she was under fire for complaining about the lack of facilities at the hospitals where she was kept forcing the authorities to slam her for her 'starry' tantrums. Kanika also received a lot of hate on social media. To make matters worse for the singer, a complaint was filed against her for hiding information.
But worryingly for the singer, it appears she cannot leave the hospital in a hurry. A patient has to test negative twice to be certified safe and these tests are carried out every 48 hours. Kanika has been tested several times in the past week and for the results came positive each time. But doctors insist that there is nothing to worry about. Professor RK Dhiman, the professor of the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS), stated that Kanika's condition is stable.
The singer also put up a post saying she was fine but missing her family.
