Kanika Kapoor Finally Tests Negative for Coronavirus After FIVE Positive Tests
Kanika Kapoor had been affected by COVID19
Singer Kanika Kapoor, famous for her chartbusters like Baby Doll and Chittiyan Kalaiyan, and her family can finally heave a sigh of relief. After five consecutive tests where she tested positive for the dreaded COVID 19, the singer has finally got a negative. As per the treatment routine, two tests have to be negative for a patient to be released and considered safe. Thus, one more test remains for the singer.
Kanika had hit the headlines when she contracted coronavirus and returned to India from London. She then courted controversy when it was revealed that she had hid her travel history and then attended parties and went shopping, thus increasing the possibility of infecting others. Things went further downhill for her when she complained about the lack of great facilities at the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences in Lucknow where she had been quarantined. The singer was heavily trolled on social media for her diva-like tantrums.
But soon there was a health scare when she began being tested after her isolation period and each time, she would test postive. This resulted in her stay being extended at the hospital. However, the authorities said that she was fine and there was nothing to worry about.
Finally, now she has been tested negative. As a news portal reported, "Bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor’s fifth #COVID19 test result comes negative. However, she will have to stay at SGPGI Hospital Lucknow until one more test result comes as negative.”
Kanika and her fans would certainly hope that the ordeal has ended for her.
