Kangana Ranaut may be the centre of several controversies but when it comes to her acting prowess, there’s not gainsaying that she is talented. It was recently announced that the Bollywood queen will soon be seen in a completely different avatar but details were not revealed back then. All we knew was that Kangana would be essaying the role of superstar-turned-politician Jayalalithaa in a biopic on her. What many could not come to terms with was how Kangana would manage to look older, let alone getting into the character. However, producer Vishnu Induri’s announcement helped calm our nerves, when he revealed that a renowned Hollywood artist has been brought on board to work on Kangana’s look.
In recent news, Jason Collins, who has worked on films like Blade Runner and Caption Marvel, has been working tirelessly on Kangana’s look for Thalaivi. The latter even flew to Los Angeles a few days ago for the same and now, some images of her undergoing a massive transformation have been revealed.

Kangana’s manager and sister Rangoli Chandel shared snippets on her social media account where we can see the starlet fully covered in prosthetic glue for her tests. Rangoli explained the process and expressed how difficult it is to be an actor. She wrote, "This is how measurements for prosthetics are taken; it’s not easy to be an actor. Kangana is so calm even in something which is so suffocating for us to even watch.” The same images were posted on Kangana’s Instagram account. She seems to be all set to step into the shoes of Iron lady Jayalalithaa. In the pictures, she can be seen undergoing extensive measurements for prosthetics. This will be in addition to Kangana learning Bharatnatyam and Tamil for Thalaivi. The film will go on floors post-Diwali near Mysore.
