Kangana Ranaut is set to play the biopic of a very famous politician. Taran Adarsh tweeted the news hence. "#BigNews: Kangana Ranaut to play Jayalalithaa... Biopic will be made in two languages. Jayaram Jayalalithaa was an Indian politician and film actor who served as Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu for fourteen years. She was the general secretary of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam party, who revered Jayalalithaa as Amma, Puratchi Thalaivi and Thanga Tharagai. She was also a famous film actor who appeared in over 140 films.

Previously in Mani Ratnam’s Iruvar, there was a character called Kalpana who was played by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The character was loosely based on Jayalalithaa. Jayalalithaa passed away in Decemeber 2016 since when various biopics have been announced.

Kangana Ranaut was recently seen in Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi where she played Rani Laxmibai, the ruler of Jhansi who fought against the British army. Kangana would soon be seen opposite Rajkummar Rao in the upcoming film Mental Hai Kya.

The Queen actress who celebrates her birthday today has risen to fame through her various performances in the past ten years. Kangana's sister, Rangoli Chandel, wished her sister on her birthday like this.
