Kangana Ranaut and Family Dance to Pahadi Natti on Brother’s Engagement

Kangana Ranaut and her family’s dance to their brother Aksht’s engagement has been doing rounds on the internet.

Kangana Ranaut brother Aksht got engaged to a Haryanvi girl Ritu and the family danced to celebrate the joy. In the video, getting viral on the internet Kangana Ranaut and sister Rangoli Chandel can be seen dancing to the traditional Pahadi group natti. Kangana Ranaut dressed in a golden banarsi sari with a pale pink tissue blouse. She accessorized the look with a traditional pearls choker and hair left loose open with a  side parting. Rangoli Chandel was dressed in a pink kurta and churidars. Bride Ritu dressed in a pink sari and flowers in her head also joined her in-laws for the family dance. Their grandfather Shri Barahmchand Ranaut also danced with them.

Kangana Ranaut’s sister Rangoli Chandel who is also her manager shared pictures from the engagement of their brother Aksht on her social media handles. Aksht dressed in a powder blue embroidered waistcoat could be seen giggling with his bride-to-be Ritu in a pink sari with silver embroidery. Rangoli Chandel requested people to bless the new couple for new beginnings in life.

She also posted a sweet video of the couple dancing shyly in front of their parents.

A few days ao Rangoli Chandel had introduced the new addition to the family Ritu to her twitter family mentioning that it would be the first inter-caste marriage of the family. According to Rangoli Chandel, their brother Aksht was a rule-breaker as he broke the same caste marriage rule in the family. Ritu is a Jaat from Haryana while Kangana Ranaut’s family is Rajput from Himachal Pradesh.

Kangana Ranaut was born in a small town in Himachal Pradesh. Much to her parents’ dismay, Kangana Ranaut decided to pursue her passion for acting and modeling. She moved to Delhi when she was just sixteen and struggled with no backing or support in the industry. Her debut film was Gangster in which she was paired opposite Shiney Ahuja, Kangan Ranaut received Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. She is known for portraying unusual and challenging characters in mostly female-centric films. Kangana Ranaut's film ‘Queen’ which is based on the story of a girl who decides to go for a honeymoon despite her fiancé turning her down is considered groundbreaking in terms of shifting the narrative from strong male to female characters.
