Actress Kalki Koechlin is known for being anything but mainstream from her film choices to her public outspokenness. Recently the star was snapped by paparazzi walking about town in a laid back and no frills look for the summer. Sporting a modern and edgy pixie cut, Kalki looked at ease in a simple white tank top with loose trousers as she strolled through the street in front of the cameras. Check out the snaps of her look below!

For a pop of colour with her simple look, Kalki also had what looks like a bright yellow scarf slinged over her arm for ease. She looked to be engrossed in a phone call as she walked past a crowd on the road.

Her look is definitely one we’ve all had at some point when we wanted to be stylish but as casual as possible. And with the summer heat and humidity rolling in, Kalki’s super short pixie cut is definitely a practical style to stay cool.

Though she has appeared in several mainstream hit films like Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and most recently Gully Boy, Kalki made her mark in the industry through her appearances in various cutting-edge and indie films like Dev.D, Shaitan and Margarita With A Straw.

Currently the actress is making waves through various critically acclaimed web series that she is appearing in. Original web shows currently under her belt include the Amazon Prime Original Made in Heaven which also features Sobhita Dhulipala, Arjun Mathur and Jim Sarbh and follows the story of two wedding planners in Delhi. She has also signed on for the second season of the very successful Hindi Netflix Original Sacred Games, starring Saif Ali Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Radhika Apte. No release date has been confirmed for the second seasons of either shows yet.
