One-film-old Kriti Sanon cannot believe her stars that she’s had the opportunity to work with senior actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Johnny Lever and Sanjay Mishra so early in her career. The actress admits to being star struck before shooting for Dilwale, but she says she wasn’t truly intimidated by so much star presence!
"I never looked at it like that. I was the most inexperienced kid on the set. I was just one film old. I don't think I will get to work with so many actors and learn from them in a single film. I never felt that I don't have much role," Kriti said. She adds, "Rohit sir is very clear about what he wants and he takes care of all the things. In his films, characters are very nicely spaced whether it's Shah Rukh-Kajol or my and Varun's love story. It's very different from each other, very separate."
"I have grown up watching his films. For me, he was like Shah Rukh Khan the star. But when I met him, I realised he is very normal. Best thing about him is how comfortable he makes you feel. And his behaviour is same with everybody whether it's an AD, spot boy or a character artiste. Once you meet and have spoken to him, you don't feel the pressure to act opposite him. It was more of a learning experience to work with him," says Kriti, but the actress has another take on sharing screen space with powerhouse actress Kajol. Admitting that she was a bit nervous about acting with the senior actress, Kriti says, "Kajol ma'am is someone who takes little time to open up. She's little guarded when you are meeting her for the first time. I hadn't met her at all before doing my first scene with her. I was actually little scared and nervous to work with her. But she was really sweet and helped me give my best shot."
