Bollywood star John Abraham is known for his love for bikes and bike racing. Plus, he is often seen in films essaying characters who share his love for the race tracks. Now, with his upcoming venture, the actor has announced that he has gotten his permission to shoot his next film on bike racing at the dangerous Isle of Man's Tourist Trophy circuit. With his yet to be titled film, John will also be capturing the Southern 100 and classic races which will be included in the film. Surely, this is one film that the actor-produced would be eagerly waiting to work on.
In an interview with Mid-Day, John revealed his plans on filming. He said, "We will kick off the shoot in April. The races usually take place in May and June, so we want to capture the real essence of those races, including the Southern 100 and the classic Tourist Trophy. If I have to draw parallels, I would say that this film will be like Rush. It’s not going to be about mindless racing, but also about human emotions." He added that the film has been in its development phase for the past couple of years and is now a very well thought out plan that he and his team want to proceed with.
John added, "I have seen many races on the Isle Of Man and we’ve done our recce too. I met Laurence Skelly, the Minister for Enterprise, and he is happy to host us and allow us to shoot the film. It will be the first Hindi film to be shot there." Apart from his production, John will also be next seen in a gangster drama called Mumbai Saga. The film will be set in the 80s and 90s, starring Jackie Shroff, Suniel Shetty, Gulshan Grover, Prateik Babbar and Amole Gupte in titular roles. Kajal Aggarwal will be the female lead which is all set to hit screens on June 19, 2020.
