Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor is one of the finest actors that the industry has to offer. Marking his debut with Sanjay Leela Bhansali in Saawariya back in 2007, the actor now has numerous films under his name. But he hasn't had any releases ever since last year's much-hyped Sanju, until now. Ranbir will be seen on screen next to his girlfriend, Alia Bhatt in Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra which is all set to release in December this year. But that's not all that the actor is offering. While he already has Zindabaad, Shamshera and Luv Ranjan's next film in the pipeline, it looks like there might be more coming from the actor.
Ranbir might be signing a film with Kabir Singh director, Sandeep Vanga very soon. Sandeep met with producer Bhushan Kumar to discuss a new script, which the latter agreed to be a part of it. And they have already decided to cast Ranbir as the male lead in their upcoming crime drama. According to a source close to Sandeep, the director has pitched the idea to the actor and he seems to be interested in the project as well.
"Ranbir has liked the concept and they will be meeting this week to discuss it further. However, even if he agrees, they won't be able to roll immediately as he already has committed to a number of films," added the insider. Meanwhile, Ranbir just wrapped up filming with Vaani Kapoor in Ladakh for Shamshera, which will also stars him in a double role. He also received his father, Rishi Kapoor and mother, Neetu Singh, upon their return from America where the former had travelled to last year to seek cancer treatment. With a wide number of films on the forefront, his ailing father getting better and a perfect, happy relationship with Alia, things seem to be looking good for Ranbir.
