Phones have become status symbols and essential accessories more than means to communicate. Understandably, iPhone is one of the most beloved phone by users. The moment that all tech fiends have been waiting for finally arrived on Tuesday evening when multinational tech giant, Apple, unveiled the brand new iPhone 11, the seventh-generation iPad, Apple TV+, and Apple Arcade. The company hosted an event at its headquarters in Cupertino, California, and as per usual, it was undoubtedly one of the biggest media events of the year that tech geeks looked forward to. At the event, Apple revealed that its new iPhone 11 will come with two back cameras, including an ultra-wide-angle lens and the next generation of microchips, the A13, but few big apparent changes, with prices starting at $699.
The new phone has a dual-camera system that includes an all new 12MP wide camera with a sensor with 100% focus pixels and an ultra-wide 12MP camera with a 120-degree field view. Analysts have said that it is in a “holding pattern” until it rolls out 5G phones with faster mobile data speeds next year. According to Apple, the new iPhone 11 has the highest quality video ever in a smartphone, capturing 4K video at 60 fps.

Apple has always been proud of its competitive advantage over rivals such as Samsung, which makes handsets, or Alphabet’s Google, which provides the Android operating system for most of the world’s phones. Apple touted controlling both the hardware and software, resulting in polished products that commanded premium prices and captured most of the smartphone industry’s profits.
The new strategy comes as iPhone sales have declined year-over-year for the past two fiscal quarters and investors are fixed on the growth potential for services.
Of course, Twitter did not take any of this lightly and went into a collective frenzy. It was abuzz with hilarious reactions and memes about the new iPhone 11 and a quick scroll through these will most certainly make your day. There were jokes about its price, its look and its design.
