Indian educator and mathematician Anand Kumar opened up about how it feels to see a movie based on his life perform so well in the Indian Box Office. Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan played the character of Anand Kumar in the recently released “Super 30.” Even though the movie has received mixed reviews, it has gotten an overwhelming response from audiences and has been performing quite well at the box office. The plot of the movie revolves around Anand Kumar’s journey from tutoring children in a top coaching center to opening up an institute that caters to underprivileged children.
Apart from praising Hrithik for his amazing acting, Anand said, “It feels great to get encouraging messages from people in different parts of the country and abroad. When people say that the film is inspiring, I feel the film has achieved its goal. When I get to know of institutions organising trips for their students, it is immensely satisfying. Hrithik Roshan has done wonderful acting in the film and the entire team worked very well.” It is pertinent to mention that the powerful message of the film prompted the state of Bihar to declare the movie tax free a day after its release. The decision was later copied by Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Delhi.
The film additionally stars Mrunal Thakur, Amit Sadh, and Nandish Sandhu in crucially important roles. It is directed by Vikas Bahl and produced by Reliance Entertainment and Phantom Films. “Super 30” was finally released on July 12 after undergoing many changes in its release date due to a clash with controversial Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut starrer “Judgementall Hai Kya.” The film “Super 30” has become unstoppable at the box office as it has raked in a total of Rs 113.71 crore so far and is expected to keep on rising.
