Hrithik Roshan is reportedly roped in to play an army officer in the upcoming film with Tiger Shroff as his subordinate
Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff’s film with YRF is touted to be one of the most highly awaited films. We learned that actor Hrithik Roshan is all set to essay the role of an army guy all over again. The last time we saw Hrithik in an armed forces uniform was in the 2004 film Lakshya, a romantic-drama set against the backdrop of the fictionalized Kargil war. Hrithik Roshan is said to play the role of an army officer in the film which is tentatively titled Fighters 2 and will be directed by Siddharth Anand of Bang Bang fame. Tiger Shroff, who has time and again said that he is a huge fan of Hrithik and considers him as his biggest inspirations in the film industry, will play the role of his subordinate in the movie. Vaani Kapoor, will play Hrithik’s love interest in the film.
According to a report in a leading entertainment website, “The shoot that is being canned here in Mumbai studio for almost a week is all about air combat. Hrithik’s role holds a pivotal rank in the Indian army. He is traveling on this plane with a huge army. The question is, what happens to his plane? Who attacks him? Will he manage to get off the plane with the help of a parachute? This is a long schedule and at the moment, Hrithik is the only actor shooting with his army."
The source also informed that the second schedule of the film is underway in Mumbai. Revealing details about the antagonist in the film, the source disclosed that Ashutosh Rana plays the role of villain.
Tiger in one of his media interactions had revealed that there will be a dance-off between him and Hrithik in the YRF next, and the sources confirm the same. "Since the film has two terrific dancers, it is given that it will have a few dance numbers. There is going to be a sexy peppy dance number in which Tiger will participate. It will also be shot under-water. There will be a short break of about two days before embarking on this dance number in a resort at Madh Island."
Currently, Hrithik Roshan is gearing up for the release of his film Super 30 as the Maths genius, Anand Kumar which has been postponed now. Owing to the ongoing fight with Kangana Ranaut, Hrithik pushed forward the release of his film as he wants to save himself from toxic mental violence.
