Hrithik Roshan has no choice but to come out and promote his on-release film Super 30 whose release is just ten days away. He has been seen in a couple of public events. But he exited hastily to avoid questions on his domestic troubles regarding sister Sunaina Roshan. Sunaina, a few days ago had accused the family of opposing her relationship with a Muslim man. Moreover, Hrithik Roshan’s bete noire Kangana Ranaut and her sister Rangoli Chandel too had gotten into the murky waters accusing the Roshans of ill-treating Sunaina after the latter allegedly approached them for help.
Needless to say, Hrithik’s promotions for his upcoming Super 30 was affected given the controversies. The actor is clearly in choppy waters right now and he had expressed his misgivings about attending events. “However Hrithik is the face of Super 30. He plays the hero of the bio-pic. There is no way the film can be promoted without him. Since the director Vikas Bahl has made a conscious decision to stay away from promotions because of the MeToo allegations. The only other face of the film is the mathematician Anand Kumar. He has been promoting the film extensively. But now the film needed the star attraction to boost the film,” says a source close to the project.
For better or worse, Hrithik is braving media exposure for the sake of his film. Hrithik had to withdraw from public scrutiny after his sister Sunaina levelled serious charges against her family. To avoid questions on his sister the star had been lying low and eschewing all opportunities for the media to grill him. But now, fans will probably see a lot more of Hrithik in the media though how the media treats him will be interesting to see.
