It all had to come down to this!
A day after Rangoli Chandel bashed Hrithik Roshan on her Twitter handle about mud-slinging over the clash of Mental Hai Kya, starring Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao in lead roles and Super 30, featuring Hrithik Roshan, the actor has hit back with a rather strong response.
Taking to his Twitter account, Hrithik has shared the news of postponing the release date of his film Super 30. The actor shared a statement on his social media handle, which reads, “So as to not allow my film to be desecrated by yet another media circus, I have decided to shift the release date of my film SUPER 30 in order to save myself from the personal trauma and toxic mental violence this would cause.”
He further added, “Despite the film being ready, I have requested my producers to shift and announce the next suitable date as soon as possible.”
Hrithik said, “Over the past few years, to my utter dismay, I have been witness to a lot us cheering and encouraging what was/in an open and blatant case of harassment.”
The actor added, “I must event now, wait patiently and silently for the collective consciousness of society to take cognizance of such matters in order to maintain our faith in civility of our society. This unrelenting helplessness must end.”
Earlier today, Rangoli Chandel, who doubles as her sister’s manager and spokesperson, shared a tweet on her handle. "With due respect to everyone, if Kangana is not harmed, trolled or bullied she won't speak against Super 30 cast or its makers... please take a note... Peace”, her post reads.
Now, only Mental Hai Kya will hit the theatres on July 26.
