Hrithik Roshan is a person of few words. He does not speak until he’s spoken to and sometimes not even that. Recently, his older sister Sunaina Roshan came out to accuse him and his parents of making her life hell and claimed that they were against her marrying her longtime Muslim boyfriend, Ruhail Amin. While the Krrish star remained mum about the allegations posed against him, his former wife Sussanne Khan defended the Roshan clan in an Instagram post. Now, Hrithik has finally opened up about his sister's statements and had all of us feeling emotional. The action star also urged his fans to respect his family’s privacy.
In a recent interview, he said, "This is an internal, private and sensitive matter for me and my family. In Didi’s (Sunaina) current state, it would not be correct of me to speak about her. It is an unfortunate situation that probably many families are going through and are as helpless as we are, owing to stigmas and an incredibly weak medical infrastructure in this country for such cases.” He clarified that religion is not something that is openly discussed in his family, indirectly debunking Sunaina’s remarks about not being allowed to marry Ruhail.
“Also, religion is not even a thing in my family. It has never been discussed or been given importance whatsoever in my entire life. And I would like to believe that it is obvious to the world by now,” Hrithik stated. He also spoke about Kangana Ranaut and her sister Rangoli Chandel being involved in his family’s personal issues and her comments on his films. “Also, being who I am, if I choose to confront as per laws, I become the aggressor. If I withdraw from a film-clash that I know has been pre-designed, then I become a weakling penning a sob story. I have learned to not get affected by either. There is no legal case that I directly have with Kangana and the reason I cannot have one is because apparently a guy cannot be stalked in India,” the Koi Mil Gaya actor concluded.
