Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan is a huge name in the industry. Son to veteran actor, Rakesh Roshan, the star made his debut in 2000 with Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai opposite Amisha Patel. The film became a huge success and Hrithik went on to sign more films such as Koi Mil Gaya, Krrish and many others that became box office hits. The actor latest film opposite Tiger Shroff and Vaani Kapoor also just hit screens and seems to be crunching big numbers at the box office in its opening weekend. And it seems like Hrithik seems to enjoy action films the most.

In an interview with Hindustan Times, the actor shared his reasons behind his inclination towards action films. He said, "I love the nuance, aesthetics and subtlety of action movies. I also love the fact that this genre requires both composure and frenzy. I’m more inclined towards action entertainers, which my favourite genre." After filming Kaabil back in 2017, Hrithik wanted to get back into action, but Super 30 came along and he couldn't say no to the project either. He shared, "It doesn’t matter what I want to do. It matters what the universe brings to me. I will take up the script that hits me hard even though I have told my team and writers to think of action movies for me."

But the star realises that good action films are hard to come by. Sharing some insight on them, Hrithik concluded, "Action films are difficult to write. They are not about blowing a car or doing stunts. They are about the intelligence of the plot. I make sure that all my characters have a strong emotional base, whether it is Kabir of War or Aarif of Dhoom 2. The content of the film draws from this emotional base. My entry in War was a very difficult scene to shoot. It looks simple but we had to make a mark. It took two months of preparation to pull that off."
