Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff Starrer War: Director Siddharth Anand is Full of Praise for the Two Stars

Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff have teamed up for Siddharth Anand’s new action-thriller film War, which is slated for release on 2nd October 2019

Siddharth Anand’s new directorial venture is action-thriller film War, starring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff in lead roles. Speaking about working again with Hrithik, after his 2014 hit film Bang Bang, Siddharth shared in an interview how the star was “addictive” and he wanted to make more films in different genres with him. He said, “Since I started directing him around 2012-13, I just can't imagine a story without him. I want to make a love story with him, a courtroom drama, an action film and a sci-fi film. There are so many films I want to make with him. It's fascinating how he fits in every mould. He is the perfect Hindi film hero that we can find. He can do everything."

Siddharth further added that since Hrithik has previously been assistant director himself, he had a lot of ideas and imagined “the scene in a particular way” but still respected the director.

Meanwhile, Siddharth is working for the first time with the other star of War, i.e. Tiger Shroff, and had good things to say about him as well. He said that Tiger was “like clay” and could be moulded in any way. He said, “With a bad director, he is horrible but with a great director, he can be the best actor. Give him the right instructions and he is outstanding. That is something which I have realised after working with him. He completely submits to the director. It's up to you how you mould him. He is at par with any of the best actors in the country. He holds the screen, he has a presence, he does action like nobody else and dances like a dream." The film is about an Indian soldier (Tiger) who is assigned on a mission to kill his former mentor (Hrithik). It will hit the screens on 2nd October 2019.
