Actor Tiger Shroff has long expressed his wish to work with his role model and inspiration Hrithik Roshan. And so, he was over the moon when he was roped in alongside the ‘Krrish’ star for the upcoming film ‘War’. The two action stars are known for their daring and hardcore stunts in every film. While we expected their forthcoming project to be no different, renowned director Siddharth Anand has now revealed the lengths to which both artists went to get into their respective roles. From what he has disclosed, we are stunned and cannot wait for ‘War’ to hit cinema screens.
According to the filmmaker, Hrithik and Tiger shot an adrenaline-pumping car action sequence on ice in Finland for one of the scenes in ‘War’. He said, “We were clear from the start that we want to give the Indian audience action they have never seen before. Our film has a huge car sequence that sees Hrithik and Tiger perform an adrenaline-pumping action stunt that has been entirely shot on ice," said Siddharth, promising the film will be nothing short of a visual treat.
"We shot this in Finland, which is in the Arctic circle and we were informed by our production team that we were the first ever film in the world to shoot an action sequence of this scale in the Arctic," he stated, adding the two action heroes have pushed beyond their boundaries. "They’ve pulled off death-defying stunts. The sequence was incredibly risky but visually so stunning that we went for it". Action director Paul Jennings, who worked in the Hollywood blockbuster The Dark Knight, has designed the jaw-dropping sequence for "War". The entertainer will see Hrithik and Tiger pitted against each other in a vicious showdown. ‘War’, produced by Yash Raj Films, also stars Vaani Kapoor and is set to release in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages.
