Disha Patani has proved her mettle as a fitness star time and again. She has mostly essayed characters that require hardcore action stints and martial arts. Even so, the Bollywood starlet has not failed to impress. With a perfectly toned physique and flexibility, Disha has starred in a range of action projects, some of which that have entered the 100 crore club. Baaghi was the first venture that required her to be in proper shape and was a physically intensive film. She trained extensively for it, attending kickboxing classes for her role too. However, it was the recently released Bharat where Disha stunned audiences with her slow motion stills.
In Bharat, she played a trapeze artist for which she had to learn gymnastics, something that is easier to learn in childhood. However, she underwent tough training and started from the basic, eventually being able to pull off difficult and gravity-defying stunts. She trained for four hours daily.
For her upcoming project, Mohit Suri’s Malang, Disha headed to Mauritius to train for the project. She practiced a variety of sports ranging from Scuba Diving, Sub Diving and Kite surfing and aced each one of them. While she has been strength training for a very long time now, she revealed she had a great time during the workshops. Her shooting locations included Bombay, Goa and Mauritius for Malang. On the same note, Disha holds martial artists in high regard. Known to be the fittest actress in Bollywood, Disha’s name in the industry has become synonymous to an action heroine. After the astounding success of M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story and Baaghi 2, her latest project Bharat is approaching to enter the 200 crore club. In a short span of time, the diva has become a force to be reckoned with and is only becoming bigger and better!
