It's that time of the year again this week as we gear up for Holi 2019. If you're going to be in the UAE and have still not made any plans for the event, keep reading to see what you can be a part of. From delicious dining experiences to beach parties to concerts, there's plenty to do to ring in the festival of colours.

SPLASH OF COLOUR AT KHYBER, THE PALM 

Wednesday, 20th - Thursday, 21st March

Get ready to add a little color to your dinner plans this Holi with Khyber. Sail away to the Mughal era and take in the vibrant terracotta arches and ornate tapestries while delighting in a lively selection of sweets, savoury snacks and delicious Chai live counters. Khyber presents a delectable three-course menu this Holi that is sure to leave guests sated and ready for more treats.

MUSIC IN THE PARK AT JLT

Friday, 22nd March

The first community pursuit of its kind, 'Music in the Park' will be presented just in time for Holi, the festival of colours this Friday, the 22nd of March at 4pm. Intended as a celebration of the festival of spring, the event will include activities of music, dance and art. You can expect Hindustani, folk and Bollywood music, rhythm and Kathak and contemporary dance, and even live painting by local artists.

'Music in the Park' is the brainchild of the Malhaar Centre for Performing Arts in association with the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC.) More than 30 local artists, adults, and children from Malhaar Centre for Performing Arts will be performing traditional musical compositions, adding to the community-centric ideals behind the event. The Malhaar Centre is planning to host even more 'Music in the Park' events in parks across the UAE and encourage locals in the art community to make their talents known for a day of fun.
