Singer Himesh Reshammiya has been in the news for one thing or another. While 2019 has already been his year in terms of a plate full of projects, he has also made several revelations that have kept audiences hooked on to his reality TV show ‘Superstar Singer’. The artist, who has been roped in to compose songs for Rajkumar Santoshi’s upcoming romantic-comedy ‘BadBoy’, revealed that all the contestants on the series are extremely talented and have a chance in Bollywood if they work to their full potential. In the same light, Himesh made another interesting confession while being the judge on ‘Superstar Singer’. Yes, you read that right! He disclosed his biggest fear.
Himesh's greatest fright was exposed when he was requested for a selfie. A 10-year-old boy from Jaipur, Rajasthan, was accompanied by his elder brother and his best friend Sultan (hen) to the audition. He requested Himesh to hold Sultan in his hands but he refused and mentioned that he is afraid of animals.
“I am extremely scared of animals and like to maintain a safe distance from them. When Mohammed Fazil (contestant) asked me to hold his pet Sultan in my hands, I was scared and jumped from my seat. It took me a lot of courage to get up from my seat and go on-stage to click a picture with Sultan," Himesh said. Superstar Singer will go on air on June 29. Speaking about making music for ‘BadBoy’, he mentioned, “Since it is a happy, fun and romantic film, we wanted the songs to be the talking point, before its release. Nowadays, music works only if the film does. My aim is to create songs that have their own identity, and also help the film.” ‘BadBoy’ will launch Mithun Chakraborty’s youngest son Namashi and producer Sajid Qureshi’s daughter Amrin in Bollywood.
