A legend in Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan is used to being highly respected and commended by others in the industry, to the point where his star power could be intimidating. But to his Brahmastra co-star Ranbir Kapoor, he's apparently nothing short of "extra sweet." Throughout his media interviews and appearances lately, Big B has been all praises for Ranbir. He previously complimented his younger co-star on having a face that was "God's blessing", as he is able to easily convey emotions and expressions in his acting while Mr. Bachchan apparently struggles from time to time. Considering that Amitabh is seen as one of the best actors of all time in Bollywood, this is definitely a worthy praise!

Amitabh shared this adorable throwback of a young Ranbir Kapoor and himself interacting.

When recently asked about Amitabh's consistent admiration for him, Ranbir Kapoor replied that he treats Mr. Bachchan like family. He also dearly appreciates the praise, as he added that there is no bigger compliment than one from Amitabh Bachchan.

It's also perhaps no surprise that the two actors see each other as family. Rishi Kapoor, Ranbir's father, has appeared in plenty of films along with Amitabh, including Bollywood classics like Amar Akbar Anthony, Coolie, and Kabhi Kabhie. The duo most recently appeared together as father and son in the comedy flick 102 Not Out. With all these decades of association, Bollywood fans are interested in seeing the chemistry between a legend and a young talent in Brahmastra. Plus, fans of real-life couple Ranbir and Alia Bhatt can expect a treat as the film will be their first romantic on-screen appearance.

Directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Karan Johar, Brahmastra is set to be the first in a trilogy of fantasy films and is slated for release later this year. The film's logo was revealed earlier this month through 150 drones at the Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj.
