Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh thanked everyone for wishing him and wife Geeta Basra on their wedding anniversary. He shared two endearing images from their intimate wedding anniversary celebrations where Geeta Basra can be seen beaming with joy as she looks into the camera. In the second picture, she can be seen giving her husband Harbhajan Singh a peck on the cheek. The former actress Geeta Basra is dressed up in a flowy white silk top while Harbhajan Singh is dressed casually in a white T-shirt and cap as they both held hands. Harbhajan Singh’s tattoo on the hand which says ‘Faith’ is also visible in the picture.
Earlier, Geeta Basra had shared an endearing image from their wedding ceremony where she was dressed in a traditional Punjabi red lehenga while harbhajan Singh went down on his knees as the two giggled.
Harbhajan Singh and Geeta Basra were spotted with their daughter Hinaya Heer Palaha at the airport as they were all ready to fly off to celebrate their wedding anniversary.
Harbhajan Singh and Geeta Basra married on October 29th, 2015 at Jalandhar, Punjab.
The couple is thoroughly traditional at heart as Geeta Basra observed the Karva Chauth fast for the longevity of her husband Harbhajan Singh.
Just a few days ago, the couple was spotted having a gala time at Amitabh Bachchan’s Diwali party.
Harbhajan Singh saw Geeta Basra for the first time in the music video of the song Who Ajnabee from the film The Train. He lost his heart at the first sight and wanted to meet the beauty right away. Since Harbhajan had no connections in Bollywood, he tried hard and finally got Geet Basra’s number where he messaged right away. Unlike Harbhajan Singh, Geeta Basra had no interest in getting into a relationship. Geeta Basra was born and bred in England and only wanted to focus on her career at the moment. It was after ten months of Harbhajan’s continuous efforts that Geeta Basra realized he was a nice person and loved her. They kept their relationship lowkey and got married five years later.
