It's India's 62nd Republic Day today and Bollywood's taken to Twitter to reveal their wishes, hopes and plans. From early this morning (January 26) stars began posting their thoughts on Twitter, and it was a range of feelings expressed - from pride at the Indian constitution to anger at corruption in the country. Read on to find out what your fave T'towners had to say.

Amitabh Bachchan posted: "Republic Day ! ... May God Bless our land with greater resilience, peace and prosperity ! And may we all respect it!!"

Salman Khan wrote: "Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes." He added later, "Corruption hattao guys, v r all guilty of it . Lena walla bhi aur dena walla bhi. Happy republic day."

Shilpa Shetty posted: Today's Thought - Freedom isn't selective, it is either complete, unfettered, and now.. Or it is not freedom. Celebrate ur rights. Happy Republic day."

Mallika Sherawat brought up President Obama and wrote: HAPPY REPUBLIC DAY!! Jai Hind! So much to be proud of! ...and today Obama mentioned India 3 inspiring times in his big speech:)."
