Shah Rukh Khan turned 54 on Saturday and the world celebrated with him! From getting his own mention at the mighty Burj Khalifa to a shout out from Salman Khan, here's how King Khan's irthday was recognized.

Bollywood's King Khan celebrated his 54th birthday on Saturday. Shah Rukh Khan could arguably be the biggest film star of the Indian Film industry and requires no introduction. The actor's birthday was celebrated with much enthusiasm, with shoutouts and his very own mention at world's tallest building, Burj Khalifa. Shah Rukh Khan became first Bollywood actor to have received this honour. Shah Rukh Khan thanked his fans for this outpour of love.

Despite rainfall in Mumbai, the Bollywood superstar’s fans gathered outside his residence Mannat to wish him. SRK also made an appearance and waved to his fans who had come in large numbers to make his day special for him. Taking to social media, the actor expressed gratitude to his fans for making his birthday special, as always.

"Thank you all for making my birthday so special. Love you always," the actor shared.

Mention at Burj Khalifa:

Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building, was lit with the birthday message for the King of Bollywood. Burj Khalifa is located adjacent to Dubai Mall where the famous fountain show takes place. The music played during the fountain show was also from Shah Rukh Khan’s famous film ‘Om Shanti Om’.Shah Rukh Khan took to Instagram and Twitter to thank Mohamed Alabar, the founder and chairman of Emar group, Burj Khalifa, and Emaar Group for the kind gesture. He wrote an emotional note with the video from the occasion.

‘To my brother, the awesomely cool Mr. #MohamedAlabbar and @burjkhalifa @emaardubai. Thanks for making me shine so bright. Your love and kindness is unsurpassable. Wow! This is really the Tallest I have ever been. Love u Dubai. It’s my birthday and I’m the guest!’

Many celebrities wished Shah Rukh Khan the best of health and life. Taking to social media, his many leading ladies such as Kajol, Preity Zinta, Juhi Chawla, Madhuri Dixit, Anushka Sharma and others wished SRK. 

Salman Khan's special wish for Shah Rukh:

Salman Khan, who shared a love-hate relationship wth Kingf Khan, took Instagram to wish Shah Rukh Khan a happy birthday in an adorable way. Salman Khan along with Sonakshi Sinha, Jacqueline Fernandez, Ayushman Sharma, Sohail Khan, Maniesh Paul and other members of the Dabangg 3 crew wished Shah Rukh Khan by singing an adorable birthday song.

Salman Khan also did the famous Shah Rukh Khan pose with arms wide open and then ended the video with an endearing note commenting candidly that he called Shah Rukh Khan many times on his birthday but he did not pick his call and everyone burste into a burst of laughter. In the caption, Salman Khan called Shah Rukh Khan ‘King Khan’.
