For Akshay Kumar, Life Begins at the End of the Comfort Zone

Akshay Kumar is a true success story as a complete outsider in the Hindi film industry who is now considered the key ingredient for the box office success of any film he works in. Although he started as an action hero, Akshay Kumar evolved and grew his craft over the passage of time. As a more seasoned and experienced actor, Akshay Kumar took up more challenging roles that pushed him off his own limits. Now his body of work and includes all sorts of films from comedy to drama and not just action.

Akshay Kumar has added another feather to his cap with the first look of his film Laxmmi Bomb. In the picture posted on his official Instagram account, Akshay Kumar could be seen dressed in a red sari and black blouse. In the background, one can see the huge deity of Indian goddess Laxmi who is considered a symbol of prosperity and wealth. He chose the occasion of Navratri to share the look. Akshay Kumar stated that he believed life begins at the end of the comfort zone.

‘Navratri is about bowing to the inner goddess and celebrating your limitless strength. On this auspicious occasion, I am sharing with you my look as Laxmmi. A character I am both excited and nervous about... but then life begins at the end of our comfort zone... isn’t it? #LaxmmiBomb

Akshay Kumar was last seen in Mission Mangal which did great at the box office. He would soon be seen in the upcoming film Houseful 4 which is releasing on October 25th, 2019.

Laxmmi Bomb is a Hindi comedy horror film produced by Shabina Khan and Tushaar Kapoor. This film is a remake of the Tamil film Muni 2: Kanchana with Akshay Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kiara Advani in the cast.  It is the story of a man who is possessed by a transgender ghost named Laxmmi. The film is expected to release on Eid-ul-Fitr next year which is on May 22nd, 2020.
