Fire Breaks Out On The Sets of Coolie No 1
The remake of Coolie No 1 starring Sara Ali Khan and Varun Dhawan is all set to release next year. In an unfortunate incident, the film sets caught fire but no injuries reported
The remake of the 1995 Govinda and Karisma Kapoor starrer, Coolie No 1, is being produced by Vashu Bhagnani and will star Sara Ali Khan and Varun Dhawan in leading roles. The film is currently being shot at Filmistan Studio, Goregaon, Mumbai. It was just last night that a major alarm rose on the sets of the film as a massive fire broke out. An accident occurred which caused the fire on the set and around 15 workers were on set at the time when the fire broke. Emergency services were called immediately and police were informed about the incident.
The fire on the sets of Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan’s film was put out immediately as per reports and no one was injured during the accident. Investigation is still underway as to how the fire broke out. Details of the damage to the set also remain unknown for now. The film is being helmed by David Dhawan and had kicked off in Bangkok last month where Sara and Varun were shooting with the crew.
The film also stars Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Rajat Rawail and Johnny Lever. Varun and Sara have been gearing up to shoot for a revamped number Husn Hai Suhana and have also been rehearsing with choreographer, Ganesh Acharya for the film. The film’s first look was revealed on Sara’a birthday last month when posters for the film were unveiled. The Coolie No 1 remake is slated for release on May 1, 2020 and fans can hardly wait.
Sara Ali Khan was last seen on the big screen in Abishek Kapoor’s Kedarnath and Rohit Shetty’s Simmba. A new entrant in the film industry, Sara Ali Khan won the hearts of her audiences with her stellar acting skills and her charming personality.
