There has been an FIR registered against singer Kumar Sanu for singing publicly late into the night.
According to reports, an FIR has been filed against the singer at Mithanpura police station of Muzaffarpur district, for singing till the early hours of the morning. He was performing at a school on Monday night.
The loudspeakers caused much discomfort to people around and they couldn't sleep. The FIR has been filed against the organizer of the program, Ankit Kumar as well.
There is a rule that mikes cannot be used after 11 pm and the organisers apparently flouted the rule and disturbed the elderly in the locality. The singer was allowed to come back to Mumbai after the programme.
Kumar Sanu was a popular playback singer in the 90s with several superhit songs to his credit including those from films like Aashiqui, Dil Hai Ki Maanta Nahi, Deewana, Saajan among others.
