This weekend (June 12-14) will be a fun one for star-gazers. A host of Bollywood and Tollywood celebrities will be in town for promotions and other activities so you never who you may bump into at malls, on the streets or at events.
First up is the Humshakals team led by Saif Ali Khan and director Sajid Khan who are coming to Dubai for the promotions of the film at an event organised by Dream Advertising and Ministry of Events. Accompanying them will be the star cast of the film including Riteish Deshmukh, Esha Gupta, Tamannaaah Bhatia and Ram Kapoor. The stars will meet the local press and talk about the comedy that releases on July 19 in theatres across UAE. The team will also visit the Malabar Gold & Diamond showroom in Meena Bazaar at 6pm and you can also catch them at Aster Clinic in Ghusais at 6.30pm.
Also in town this weekend is Arbaaz Khan who is here as the chief guest for the Indian Property Show taking place at the Dubai World Trade Centre from June 12-June 14, 2014. The show is a snapshot of the Indian property market as a whole with more than 400 projects being exhibited by over 100 developers. Arbaaz, whose brother Sohail has already invested in a house in Dubai, will add the Bollywood touch to the exhibition.
If you are a Tollywood fan, gear up for one of the biggest releases of the year. Malayalam actress Manju Warrier is making a comeback after 14 years in the film How Old Are You that releases in the UAE today (June 12, 2014). The film, about the 36-year-old woman rediscovering herself has found wide appreciation in Kerala, critically and commercially. The star, who was recently seen in the Kalyan Jewellers advertisement campaign along with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Amitabh Bachchan, will be in Dubai for the premiere to be held tomorrow (Friday June 13, 2014) at Galleria cinema at 7.30pm. The actress is in Dubai along with director Rosshan Andrews, Kanika (from the movie Spirit) and Bobby Sanjay (the script writers). The stars will be attending the after-party at Simply South, the South Indian underground club at Bur Dubai.
