Farhan Akhtar’s Recent Selfie from ‘The Sky Is Pink’ Sets will Brighten your Sunday

Farhan Akhtar recently shared a selfie from his ‘the Sky Is Pink’ days where the cast of the film can be seen smiling with the director

Farhan Akhtar recently shared a fun selfie from the sets of  The Sky Is Pink. Clicked by Priyanka Chopra, the selfie had smiling faces of the director Shonali Bose, Zaira Wasim, Rohit Saraf, and Farhan Akhtar somewhat in the background. Farhan Akhtar, playing the role of Niren Chaudhry in the film The Sky Is Pink, looks blurred in the picture but the moment was precious on all levels hence the actor could not help sharing it on his social media. While the remaining actors and members were still a part of the film promotions, Zaira Wasim did not join them for the film promotions as she had decided to quit the industry.

He posted the picture with the caption which is actually dialogue from the film.

The Sky Is Pink is a family drama that was filled with emotional moments. Based on the story of an eighteen year old girl Aisha Chaudhry who lost her life to a terminal disease, the film is bound to make the viewers laugh and weep at the same time. Although the film is based on the life of Aisha Chaudhry and her family, it still has a message of hope. According to director Shonali Bose, The Sky Is Pink is more about the celebration of life than mourning a loved one’s death.

According to Priyanka Chopra, shooting for the film was a cathartic experience for her. She was shooting for The Sky Is Pink just a few days before her marriage to Nick Jonas. It was an emotional time for Priyanka Chopra as she was missing her father on this important occasion of her life. Priyanka Chopra shared a close bond with her father Ashok Chopra who lost his life to Cancer. According to Priyanka Chopra, her character helped her come terms with her father’s death.
