This agreement will help incorporate various art and cultural initiatives as a run up to and during Expo 2020 in order to showcase creativity and Dubai’s growing art scene, and to strengthen the city’s position as a global cultural capital.

Reem Al Hashemi said the agreement “highlights the combined efforts of all in the UAE to make this national project a success.” Dubai Culture will also be running promotional campaigns for Expo 2020. Promoted as the world’s greatest show, the highly-anticipated event will run for 173 days, from 20th October 2020 to 10th April 2021. It will showcase the latest innovations via 192 country pavilions and also include several activities for leisure and entertainment.
