Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor have dissociated themselves from their talent manager Anirban Das Blah after a newspaper reported multiple cases of sexual harassment against him. According to a report in Mid-Day newspaper, four women ranging from models, strugglers and an established actress had come out about Anirban Das Blah saying that he had sought sexual favours in return of getting them movie roles.
As soon as the report was published, Blah left the country and locked his Twitter account. However, his company soon released a statement saying that he has been asked to step aside from his own company.

However, soon after the allegations surfaced, Twitter users have been tagging Deepika Padukone asking for a response. Deepika didn't respond directly.
It is known that she asked one of her close associates to call Blah and fire him from her services. Deepika hasn't terminated the contract with Blah's company as several endorsements are already in the works and a termination of contract will adversely affect all the brands and the people associated with it.
But Blah was asked to tender his resignation from the Trustee Board of The Live Love Laugh Foundation, an NGO that fights against depression and the oppressed.
When Blah emailed his resignation, it was publicly announced on their portal.
Deepika and Blah, sources close to the actress confirmed, that they will never be associating together. Sources also say that Deepika and Ranbir Kapoor had a conversation as well and Blah will not be seen with Ranbir Kapoor either.
This is the second such incident involving a senior executive from a reputed company being fired over sexual harassment charges. Earlier today, YashRaj Films took a strong stand by firing its vice president Ashish Patil over similar charges.
